We are thrilled to join Circular Kitchens as the UK’s first fish and chip shop on this sustainability journey.
Awarded Best Fish and Chips by Restaurant Guru 2021 and Traveler’s Choice 2021, our legendary South Shields chip shop and café has been in the same family since 1926. Though our original coal-fired fryers are long gone, we now use high-spec, ultra-modern Kiremko ranges to produce dishes like real scampi made with Whitby Bay langoustine tails and Thai-style prawn fishcakes. We use day-boat fish for our seasonal specials, such as line-caught North Atlantic haddock and MSC-approved cod, all cooked in our top-secret batter.
