The Umbrella Centre Café is part of the Whitstable Umbrella Community Centre, a local charity that has supported the community for over 30 years, creating an inclusive, welcoming space. As a member of Circular Kitchens, the café is taking meaningful steps to integrate circular practices into its daily operations, from reducing waste and eliminating single-use plastics to sourcing locally where possible. These efforts reflect a commitment to eco-conscious practices and a desire to make Whitstable greener. Every visit to the café contributes not only to a more sustainable way of operating, but also to the continued support of vital community initiatives in Whitstable.
